The Golden State Warriors are looking to sign Brandin Podziemski to a contract extension, general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. said on Tuesday.

"When he's on the court, we're a better team," said Dunleavy on a conference call. "So anytime you've got a guy like that, you want to be able to keep him around.

"Obviously we have multiple ways to do it through an extension and restricted free agency and all that, but we prefer to get it done sooner rather than later."

Podziemski averaged 13.8 points and 5.1 rebounds last season.

The Warriors are also reportedly interested in signing Georges Niang, Brandon Williams, or Dalen Terry.
