UFC lightweight fan favorite King Green is basking in Esteban Ribovics’ weight miss ahead of their UFC 332 fight.

King Green remains one of the UFC lightweight division’s most colorful characters ahead of his return this Saturday at UFC 332. Green and Esteban Ribovics clash in a highly anticipated lightweight bout on the UFC 332 main card, headlined by a Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong vacant flyweight title fight.

Green and Ribovics are expected to put on a show in the Octagon at UFC 332 this weekend. But just hours before the event, the fight was put into jeopardy after Ribovics missed weight at Friday’s official weigh-in.

Ribovics weighed in at 156.5 lbs on Friday morning and was penalized 20% of his purse for the miss. This is the first time he’s missed weight in his UFC tenure.

After Ribovics’ miss, Green didn’t take long to slam his opponent and bask in the 20% of Ribovics’ purse that could be coming his way.

“My opponent was nowhere to be seen!” Green said of Ribovics.

“I’m getting that 20 percent! I want it in $1 bills. Imma bring it all back to my girls in the club. They always have these excuses – I took this fight on four weeks’ notice too!”

Green is looking to return to the win column after four straight victories, including his most recent win over Terrance McKinney at UFC 329. He’s also earned recent finishes against Jeremy Stephens and Daniel Zellhuber.

As of this writing, Green vs. Ribovics will move forward at UFC 332, and Green has the chance to earn another impressive win in the Octagon in Salt Lake City.
