Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayA fighter paid the ultimate price on Saturday night (Aug. 2, 2025) at AKA 48 from inside Paragon Casino Resort and Hotel in Marksville, La., when he tried to pull off a Max Holloway only to get knocked out seconds later.
Glen Norman is the unfortunate one who will have to live with this highlight. The welterweight prospect squared off with Byron Walker on the undercard of AKA 48 and let’s just say Norman made an impression (spoiler, it wasn’t a good one).
The 34-year-old fighter was looking to steal the show and decided to channel his inner “Blessed” and point to the center of the cage as an invitation for violence. Walker accepted with closed fists and planted a massive right hand that knocked Norman out cold on his feet. Norman was somehow still standing when Walker landed another two punches that finally sent him crashing to the canvas.

This should be a lesson to all up-and-coming fighters that there are levels in MMA. It’s not easy to fight like Holloway or pull of his legendary point-down knockout over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. Most UFC fighters wouldn’t even attempt a move like that, let alone a 2-1 regional fighter competing for exposure.
Brutal loss to say the least. Let us know your thoughts below!
