• Why am I holding onto Logan Webb since he will be a free agent (after 2028 season) before the rest of the team is close to being playoff caliber ?  If I were to trade him in this post 2026 off season, what could I receive for 2 seasons of Webb?  one or two top 100 prospects?

• Yeah I think two top 100 prospects is still realistic. Rate performance this year hasn’t been as strong as usual but there aren’t many pitchers who can maintain the kinds of workloads Webb does
• I was alright with them taking him off the market at the deadline but this roster needs so much work that you’re right they probably should have him out there in the winter

Ty France

• Am I getting a qualifying offer? And what would be a fair extension for me?

Jake Bauers

• I’m the best hitter on the best team (record wise at least) this year, am I playing myself into a hefty, multi-year contract?

Anthony Franco

• Think both these guys have played their way to two years. France more in the $20M range, Bauers between $25-30M. Neither has a consistent enough track record to warrant a QO
• I prefer Bauers because there’s a better approach and a little more utility with the left-handed bat if they regress into a platoon capacity, but wouldn’t push back if you’d rather have France’s superior glove at 1B

• handicap Dodgers bullpen assuming Diaz and Wrobleski aren’t on IL when postseason begins,

• I’ll assume health for Treinen and Bubic (plus Brock Stewart, who’s healthy now but gets hurt every 10 innings or so)
• The two you mentioned plus Scott, Roki, Treinen, Dreyer, Vesia, Stewart and Phillips
• Would basically leave one spot for Henriquez, Klein, Bubic, Lauer, Sheehan, etc.

Ricky Tiedemann

• Are the Blue Jays being too aggressive promoting me after being so seriously injured the last three years and pitching so little in my rehab this month?

Anthony Franco

• It’s fine. Have to assume he’s a short reliever at this point anyway, might as well see how the stuff plays against MLB hitters while he’s currently healthy

Wordan Jalker

• Hi Anthony. Any ideas on managers of the year ? Phillies skipper has done a great job ( Mattingly). Whitesox ( Will Venables ) has to be a favorite I would think.

Anthony Franco

• Ones you mentioned are good calls. Venable feels like the AL favorite, would be shocked if it’s not either him or Cash. NL is more open because there aren’t many surprise teams
• If the D-Backs grab a WC, Lovullo probably gets it. If this playoff field holds, could see voters finally giving Dave Roberts some credit
• Nothing against Pat Murphy, who has done a great job, but there are only so many times the Brewers can be a top two team in the NL before we stop pretending they’re some sneaky upstart
