Kevin Lee is having a tough time.

That’s because “The Motown Phenom” suffered a nasty broken jaw in his most recent knockout loss to 2024 PFL Lightweight champion Gadzhi Rabadanov in PFL 6’s main event last month (Fri., June 20, 2025) inside INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas (watch highlights).

After the fight, Lee revealed he had his jaw wired and “can’t absorb shots anymore.”

Today, Lee posted an Instagram story revealing that this specific injury is the worst he’s ever endured ... and he’s had a laundry list of injuries.

“Listen bro, I done had all types of injuries before,” Lee said on Instagram. “I broke most of my fingers, my toes, broken bones in my foot. Twisted my ankle. Shin splints. Three knee surgeries, three ACL surgeries. Messed up my meniscus, my MCL, grade three tear in my hamstring. My hip. Tore my groin before. Had an ulcer before. My shoulders, I could keep going on, right?”

“This right here [pointing to his jaw], kind of goes without saying, but do not break your jaw,” Lee continued. “Do not get your jaw wired. This is the worst of the worst. There’s not even a close second. 24/7, it sucks. It f—king sucks. There’s no two ways around it.”

Lee still has not revealed if he will continue to fight, which makes sense because he’s probably waiting for his jaw to heal before making the decision to possibly retire again.

The 32-year-old has only secured two wins since his brutal 2019 knockout of Gregor Gillespie, losing four of his last six.
