Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDestined to become an Australian angling literary classic "The Last Days of Zane Grey" took author Vicki Hastrich to the Florida Keys, a face to face encounter with a Great White Shark off Port Lincoln and to the sheltered waters of Watsons Bay, just inside the heads to Sydney Harbour, where this giant of Game, Sports and Fly Fishing spent many days writing and chasing the monsters of the deep.
A capacity crowd swamped Sydney Game Fishing Club on a wild, wet and blustery night to launch this important fishing book and Scott Levi was amongst them to catch up with some of the Game Fishing crew, including Pelagic fish expert and marine Scientist Dr Julian Pepperel and the author Vicki Hastrich.
First cast is with Club President Glenn Wright who spoke about the evolution of the sport.
Speaking of fishing history, Stinker has connected with his past, on the North Coast, catching some thumping big Greenback Tailor on rods made by his father, a tackle industry pioneer on the Tweed 60 years ago.
