The Phoenix Suns have made Oso Ighodaro's contract fully guaranteed for the 2026-27 season. Ighodaro's contract was already guaranteed for $250,000 and was set to increase to $500,000 guaranteed on Suns opening night next season. The deal would have become fully guaranteed for $2.3 million on the league-wide guarantee date of January 10, 2027.

In his second NBA season, Ighodaro played in all 82 games with 24 starts. He then started in all four of Phoenix's playoff games in their first-round loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 6-foot-11 center averaged 6.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 22 minutes per game in the regular season. In the playoffs, Ighodaro averaged 7.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.
