The San Antonio Spurs opened as -220 favorites to beat the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals at DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Knicks opened at around a +180 underdog.

The Knicks have received nearly half of the money wagered on the NBA Finals winner this season, a total that is almost all of the other teams combined.

"Knicks are unsurprisingly very heavily bet on in New York, more so than any other state, both per game and in the futures," Caesars Sportsbook lead NBA trader David Lieberman told ESPN.

Teams coming off a sweep that have played a team who went seven games in the conference finals are 5-3 in the NBA Finals.

The Spurs, who entered the season at 65-1 title odds, would be the biggest preseason underdog to win a title in over 40 years.

The Knicks entered the season at 10-1 title odds.
