Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThere hasn't been much bad news since the end of the season for Arsenal but there has be concerns surrounding Bukayo Saka.
While it may not effect the Gunners right now, England boss Thomas Tuchel revealed a few days ago that it was not possible for the winger to start and finish games.
Saka is currently managing an Achilles problem that caused him issues last season and also caused Mikel Arteta to manage his work loads carefully.
Well, Tuchel is now having to do the same. What Saka really needed this summer was a few months off; not a hectic World Cup schedule in one of the hottest climates imaginable.
Alas, Arsenal will hope the player can come through the competition unscathed before resting up and returning for pre-season. As it happens, he, Eberechi Eze, Declan Rice and Noni Madueke could see one of their England colleagues sign for Arsenal while the tournament plays out.
Arsenal making progress in their bid to sign big-money England man
After winning the Premier League last term, Arsenal are in a remarkably good position to bolster their squad. It represents the best chance they have had to strengthen in several years.
So, they must take advantage of that. Ceiling raisers must be brought to the Emirates in a bid to launch another assault on the title and indeed on the Champions League.
A big-money winger looks to be at the forefront of their minds. PSG's Bradley Barcola is a name that keeps appearing and after his goal at the World Cup on Tuesday night, is set to become even hotter property as the tournament plays out.
He is not the only winger in their crosshairs. Talks are reportedly progressing over a move to sign Club Brugge attacker Christos Tzolis. The player wants the move and there is a feeling this one could be done pretty quickly if Arsenal decide he is the man for the job.
Yet, their leading target is Morgan Rogers. Valued between £80m to £100m, this is going to be a complex deal. Aston Villa do not want to sell, particularly after securing Champions League football. However, they may well have to bite the bullet. That's because Rogers wants to move to north London.
That's according to popular club insider, Hand of Arsenal. Taking to social media on Tuesday evening, they reported that the forward's 'preference' is now to join the Gunners.
Rogers has communicated his desire to leave to the Villa hierarchy and is now pushing for a move to the Emirates having been completely sold on the project offered by Arteta. Personal terms have been explored with the player but not yet agreed, while Villa and Arsenal are already in early talks surrounding a move.
Chelsea have also been pleading with Rogers but have been met with the response that he only wants Arsenal.
Why Saka would love Morgan Rogers
Speaking in the aftermath of the title win, co-owner Josh Kroenke revealed that the decision to spend £105m on Declan Rice was a "big moment" for the project. It certainly changed the game and made them a force to be reckoned with.
Well, in the form of Rogers, it would be another landlark moment. Villa are no mugs, they are one of the best sides in the country under Unai Emery. They are Europa League winners. This move, therefore, feels like a powerplay move from the English champions. They are not here to rest on their laurels and take a backseat after lifting a major piece of silverware.
In Rogers, they would be signing a game-changing attacker, someone who could finally elevate Arteta's forward line to a brand new level.
While he has prioritised defensively solidity for much of his tenure, it is time for him to strengthen the attack and boy do they need it. If there was one area they struggled for consistency in last season it was up top.
Leandro Trossard went 25 games without scoring at one stage, Gabriel Martinelli only netted once in the Premier League all season and their overreliance on Saka was evident when he was out injured. His replacement in Noni Madueke, although lively, also struggled for consistency.
Saka has been the go-to man for the Gunners for a number of years but even he is now feeling the effects of that. The last thing they need is an injury prone player in their ranks.
Yet, the arrival of Rogers could give the club's number 7 a new lease on life. Together, they could form one of the most dangerous partnerships in the division.
Whether the England man arrives to play on the left or through the middle as a no.10, both would represent good news for Saka. If he plays on the left, it would finally draw the attention away from him.
For so long, the Hale Ender has been double or even triple teamed by the opposition. Arsenal have had a strong right-hand bias to their play because of Saka and because of the lack of quality in comparison over on the left.
Well, Rogers would change that. The scorer of 14 goals and the supplier of 12 assists last season, the former PFA Young Player of the Year winner is one of the best and most consistent players in England's top-flight. He's got an aura about him and a similar carrying ability to Saka that would make him a phenomenal threat on the left. All of a sudden, you may well find Arsenal's star boy with a lot more room on the right.

Yet, if the Villa man was to play through the middle, it could make Saka even better. While he has enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Martin Odegaard, Rogers is a much more menacing player.
The way he drives through the middle of the pitch with his powerful frame and running ability sees him take out several players in a way the slower and leaner Odegaard cannot do.
He'd drives the play forward much quicker and open up more space for Saka regardless of where he plays. That should be music to the ears of the club's prized academy graduate.
