The Houston Rockets have waived Vernon Carey Jr, Ricky Council IV, Tyrese Hunter and Cameron Matthews. All four players are expected to join the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for the upcoming G League season.

The Rockets roster is now set for the regular season. Houston has 14 players signed to standard contracts and three players signed to two-way deals. The Rockets can't currently fill their open roster spot due to lack of space under their first-apron hard cap.
