The Detroit Pistons waived guard Gary Harris. The Pistons had acquired Harris, along with John Collins and Taurean Prince, in a multi-team trade that sent Caris LeVert to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Harris appeared in 48 games for the Bucks last season. The 12-year veteran averaged 2.7 points in 13.8 minutes per game. Harris has also played for the Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic, in addition to the Bucks.

The Pistons will open a roster spot by waiving Harris. Detroit will carry a $3.8 million dead money cap hit for Harris this season.
