PCA begins the 20-20 club in 2026

The electrifying Chicago Cubs center fielder became the first player to reach the 20-20 mark this season, showcasing the rare blend of power and speed that has fueled his emergence as one of MLB's brightest young stars.

Along with becoming the first major leaguer in 2026 to reach the milestone, Crow-Armstrong also became just the second player in franchise history to collect back-to-back 20-20 seasons, joining Sammy Sosa from 1993-95.

One home run wasn't enough for PCA

As if his home run to join the 20-20 club wasn't enough, Crow-Armstrong delivered again the next time he stepped to the plate, crushing his 21st home run of the season.

Crow-Armstrong's 21 home runs are tied for the fifth most in the National League, sharing the spot with both Brandon Lowe and Jordan Walker.

Crow-Armstrong has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the last month-plus, raising his average approximately 60 points since June 1.

Combine that with the all-world defense he provides on a nightly basis, and you get a player who is toe-to-toe with Shohei Ohtani for the MLB leader in WAR entering the All-Star break.

Continued excellence from PCA for the remainder of the season will give him a compelling argument to stop Ohtani from winning a third consecutive MVP award.
