Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe New Orleans Pelicans have held their decision on hiring a new head coach longer than many expected. That decision may be held up as the Pelicans wanted to take time to fully consider Jamahl Mosley for the position.
New Orleans has interviewed several assistant coaches, as well as their own interim head coach James Borrego for the role. The Pelicans have been reported to have interest in Mosley, dating back to when he was still the head coach of the Orlando Magic.
Mosley was fired by the Magic following the team's disappointing regular season, which culminated in blowing a 3-1 lead to the Detroit Piston in the first round of the playoffs.
Will Guillory of The Athletic has also reported that he expects the Pelicans to make a coach decision early this week.
