Former NBA guard Theo Pinson is reportedly attracting interest from Pallacanestro Trieste as he considers the next step in his career.

The 30-year-old free agent has spent the past two seasons playing for Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rico’s Baloncesto Superior Nacional.

According to Italian journalist Raffaele Baldini, Trieste is interested in bringing Pinson to Italy.

Pinson previously spent five seasons in the NBA, playing for the Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks between 2018 and 2023.

A move to Trieste would give Pinson his first opportunity in Italy’s top division, Lega Basket Serie A, after his recent stint in Puerto Rico.
