The NBA is expected to release its full 2026-27 regular-season schedule next week after finalizing key dates for the upcoming campaign.

Commissioner Adam Silver previously joked that the league was waiting for LeBron James to decide on his next team before completing the schedule. James has since signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, clearing one of the offseason’s biggest uncertainties.

As in previous years, the NBA is expected to reveal marquee games, such as Opening Night and the Christmas Day slate, ahead of the complete schedule release. Opening Night is projected for October 20.

Several major dates have already been confirmed. NBA All-Star Weekend will take place in Phoenix from February 19-21, while the Emirates NBA Cup begins on October 30, with the championship game scheduled for December 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The NBA trade deadline is set for February 11. Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans will face off internationally in the NBA Paris Game on January 14 before meeting again in the NBA London Game on January 17.
