The Namibia T20I Tri-Series 2026 gets underway on August 28 as hosts Namibia take on South Africa at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. Zimbabwe are the third team involved in the competition, which will feature six round-robin matches followed by the final on September 6.

The series carries added significance with Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe set to jointly host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2027. The tri-series provides the three sides with an opportunity to build towards next year’s global tournament while also strengthening cricketing ties across the region.

South Africa have named a youthful squad led by Bjorn Fortuin, with Dewald Brevis, Tony de Zorzi and Kwena Maphaka among the players expected to attract attention. Namibia, meanwhile, will be led by experienced all-rounder Gerhard Erasmus, while Zimbabwe will have veteran Sikandar Raza at the helm. The tournament will also mark the first time Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe face each other in a T20I tri-series. With seven matches scheduled across 10 days, including the title decider, fans will have plenty of action to follow from Windhoek.
