Secondary market ticket prices for New York Knicks home games in the 2026 NBA Finals have surged to record levels, with get-in prices at Madison Square Garden now exceeding $4,200 for Game 3 on June 8, up roughly $1,700 from two weeks ago and surpassing comparable figures for Super Bowl LX in February.

The escalation has been swift across all three scheduled MSG contests. Game 4 on June 10 has climbed from approximately $3,400 last week to more than $3,900, while the get-in price for Game 6 on June 16, if necessary, has risen to $5,300. Premium inventory, including lower-level and courtside seats, is frequently listed above $40,000 per ticket for Games 3 and 6, with some listings reaching six figures.

The Knicks are making their first Finals appearance in 27 years, reviving a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs last seen in 1999. The presence of Victor Wembanyama adds further appeal. The French center won MVP honors in the conference finals and became the first player in NBA history to record at least 55 blocks and 25 three-pointers in a single postseason.

For fans willing to travel, San Antonio offers a considerably cheaper alternative. Get-in prices at Frost Bank Center for Game 1 on Wednesday start around $1,000, with Game 2 on Friday opening near $1,300. Those figures, combined with airfare and lodging from the New York area, still total less than the cost of a single MSG ticket.

Some Knicks season-ticket holders are weighing whether to attend the Finals themselves or sell their seats for a substantial profit, according to reports.

The NBA Finals resale market operates with fewer restrictions than the Super Bowl, where TKO Group-owned On Location controls a significant portion of ticket inventory and its release timing, leaving NBA Finals pricing more directly exposed to raw supply and demand forces.
