A second proven lefty from the Mets bullpen is joining a pennant race.

Brooks Raley, who is set to hit free agency after this season, was traded to the Phillies on Monday for two minor league players, according to a major league source. 

Raley’s departure followed lefty reliever A.J. Minter’s trade to the Twins last week.

Raley, 38, owned a 1.96 ERA in 45 appearances this season.

The Mets received outfielder John Spikerman and right-handed pitcher Luke Gabrysh in the deal. Both were playing at High-A.

Spikerman was the Phillies’ No. 27 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, and Gabrysh was outside the top 30 rankings.

Earlier in the day the Mets traded Huscar Brazobán to the White Sox for two minor leaguers. Freddy Peralta was traded to the Rays on Sunday for three minor leaguers.

The Phillies at 59-53 are desperately holding on to the final wild-card spot in the NL.

Philadelphia also acquired Luis Arraez from the Giants on Monday morning and will put him at first base, while moving Bryce Harper to right field.

The Mets are 47-66 and in last place in the NL East.
