The NBA announced on Tuesday that the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons would play in the annual Mexico City Game on November 1. This will be the 34th game held in Mexico City since 1992.

This will be the eighth appearance in Mexico for the Dallas Mavericks, and the third appearance for the Detroit Pistons. Dallas will head into the matchup led by Anthony Davis, and presumably first overall pick Cooper Flagg. Detroit has an up-and-coming group led by Cade Cunningham.
