Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber just continues to clobber home runs.

On Wednesday, Schwarber hit his 40th home run of the season.

It came via a three-run shot in the second to extend the lead to 6-0 over the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington.

It's his 4th career 40-homer season, tying him with Ryan Howard for the most in Phillies history.

Schwarber's four 40-HR seasons are also tied with Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani for the most among active players.

This is also just Schwarber’s fifth season with the Phillies. Howard played his entire 13-year MLB career with the franchise.

Since Schwarber came to Philadelphia in 2022, his lowest home run total was 38, which came in 2024, and he had a career-high 56 last season with 132 RBIs.

The Phillies brought back Schwarber on a five-year, $150 million deal this past offseason, although the Baltimore Orioles had a similar offer before they signed Pete Alonso.
