The Sacramento Kings are in a bit of transition under new general manager Scott Perry. After trading into the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft to select Nique Clifford, the Kings will now turn to addressing other roster questions.

One of the items in question this offseason is a potential extension for Zach LaVine. The veteran guard has two years left on his contract, with $47.5 million for this season and a $48.9 million player option for 2026-27. LaVine is extension-eligible, but Sacramento isn't prioritizing a new deal for him this summer.
