Khaos Williams

Khaos Williams is excited to welcome Roberto Soldic to the UFC.

Soldic is the former KSW welterweight and middleweight champion and has been highly-sought after. After signing with ONE a few years ago when he was first a free agent, he signed with the UFC in his second free agency, but Williams admits he isn’t too familiar with him.

“I wasn’t familiar with him, but he has some hype behind him,” Williams said on Just Scrap Radio on BJPENN.com. “He’s a tough dude, an honorable opponent. We got to go put on for the fans. … I look at him like everyone else, you could be 30-0, we all human, you gotta get in front of me.”

When Soldic signed, the UFC offered him Williams in his promotional debut. Williams admits he was surprised the UFC wanted him to be his first opponent. Yet, he knows the promotion knows it will be an exciting fight, which is why they booked it.

“I was surprised, but at the end of the day, I know what I bring to the table, and it’s a fun fight,” Williams said. “The matchmakers know what they are doing. At the end of the day, I know what I bring to the table; matchups make fights, and the UFC knows it will be a good fight. They know what I am coming to do. You can’t prey on a predator; I’m a predator, man. It doesn’t matter who they put in front of me.”

Although Roberto Soldic is a knockout artist, Khaos Williams isn’t worried about that. Instead, Williams is confident in his striking that he will be the one who gets the KO win.

“It’s a fight; I do what I do. Everybody knows, when you fight me, one mistake you gotta pay. We coming to fight. … He’s a knockout artist, I’m a knockout artist; I’m not going to sleep, so I see him going to sleep and leaving victorious in a dangerous, ‘Khaos’ fashion,” Williams said.

Should Williams get his hand raised, he hopes for a ranked opponent next. And he isn’t ruling out fighting again in 2026.

“Absolutely. If he beats me, they are going to give him a ranked guy, so if I beat him, I should get a ranked guy,” Williams said.
