Keon Ellis and the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a two-year, $18 million deal with a mutual option for Year 2. If either side exercises the option, then Ellis will be under contract for the 2027-28 season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Ellis at the trade deadline from the Sacramento Kings. In 72 games with the Cavaliers and Kings last season, Ellis averaged 6.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 20.5 minutes.

Ellis went undrafted in 2022 out of Alabama and was immediately signed to a two-way contract by the Kings.
