Jett Lawrence has undergone surgery to address his ongoing physical issues. The Australian revealed from the hospital that the procedure was successful and emphasized that he made the decision with his health and future career in mind.

Lawrence had been dealing with physical problems in recent months and eventually decided that surgery was the best option. Following the procedure, he shared images from the hospital on social media and confirmed that everything had gone according to plan.

Jett Lawrence: “Keep believing in your theories, I’ll just keep being myself. The surgery was a success and the doctor took good care of me. I did this for myself, my health and my career.”

The surgery comes after Lawrence previously announced that he would miss the entire SMX series due to ongoing ankle problems. At the time, he revealed that his ankle had not felt right since the beginning of the season and that the issues had worsened following Ironman.

It is currently unknown when Lawrence will be able to get back on the bike. His previous goal was clear: to make a full recovery and begin preparations for the 2027 season completely pain-free.
