Jeff Van Gundy believes the New York Knicks have become the team to beat heading into the NBA Finals after their dominant playoff run through the Eastern Conference.

Following another convincing victory to complete a sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Van Gundy said New York’s current form, health and momentum make them his pick to win the championship.

“To win that many in a row in dominant fashion, to me, the Knicks are the favorite now to win it all. They are playing that good, they’re healthy and everything is going great for them.”

The Knicks have now won 12 straight playoff games and continue to build momentum at exactly the right time as they await either Oklahoma City or San Antonio in the Finals.
