In a recent interview with Dan Patrick, Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum touched on a lot of different topics. One of the items discussed is Tatum's relationship with former teammate Jaylen Brown. Tatum made it clear how he feels about the time him and Brown spent together on the Celtics.

"There's just so many different narratives and so many different opinions and speculations. For me, I love that guy," Tatum said. "What we were able to accomplish together in nine years, right, went to the conference finals five times, we went to the championship twice, we won a championship, we've shared All-Star games together. You can't talk about him without talking about me and vice versa, the success that we've had as just two young kids growing up in this league and really just pushing each other. Unfortunately, the business of basketball is always going to play a part. Nobody has ever played together forever, but it's not like a thing to be sad or upset about, it's a thing to celebrate what we were able to do."

Tatum also gave some insight into his mindset as he returned from a torn Achilles' tendon last season.

"I was nervous, I was anxious. To be honest, I was nervous every game I played in," Tatum said. He also added, "I'll be back to myself when we get out there this October."

Tatum said he talked a lot with Damian Lillard and Tyrese Haliburton, who were also recovering from torn Achilles' at the same time.
