Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayJalen Williams has been ruled out of Game 7 by the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a left hamstring injury. Williams returned to the Oklahoma City lineup for Game 6, but played just 10 minutes in their loss at the San Antonio Spurs.
Williams missed the final two games of the first round, the entire second round before returning for Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. Williams aggravated the injury in Game 2 and missed the next three games.
"He's been hellbent on trying to get himself to this point. I give him credit. He's a big team guy, big competitor," Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said of Williams after Game 6. "He's obviously not 100 percent. He didn't know what to expect; I didn't know what to expect. So it was a matter of getting him out there in an insulated role and see what he could bring to the team. ... He hasn't done a full return to play the way that he would."
Williams played in just 33 regular season games as he recovered from offseason wrist surgery along with a right hamstring injury.
Ajay Mitchell has also been ruled for Game 7 with a right calf strain.
