Been eyeing for a new machine ever since the Ennoxx Motor on my current machine started squeaking loudly. But so far it comes and goes and maybe just needs a good lubing after 3k+ rackets. Was probably making more of an excuse to just buy something new and probably set myself for another 3 years+. Simplest for me was to get an Exthree Machine from Victor in that sick Purple. Or spend a chunk more for a Tennis / Badminton Machine the Precision 5.2. Probably will have easier time with service / parts for future if needed. The other option was to wait for the new Tennisman Deluxe with improved turntable / stiffness. But with no mention of any improvements to the Ennoxx Motor I decided to skip this option.

Negatives for me for Yonex or Victor Exthree Machines:
1. Large profile & seems like a poor use of space vs a tabletop + an up/down desk table. (granted I can make them tabletops but then paying for the whole machine anyways to just have the stand in storage.
2. Both machines do the back&forth motion when doing prestretch. I prefer the yonex 8.0/9.0 as its most similar to my Ennoxx Motor.
3. Speed looks about the same as the previous gen.
4. $$$$$ Have to put this here

Positives:
1. Victor - Electronic adjustment stand (if I use)
2. Victor - Ratchet adjustment system seems interesting with its 3rd knob
3. Victor - Lighting + Cellphone holder
4. Yonex - Can do Tennis and has Diablo gripper vs the beak version. Guess its preference I don't really mind either.
5. Both -Very nice 4 tooth lighter clamps.
6. Victor - Closer puller, move string to use to preweave. Yonex - one is pretty far away and doesn't adjust like its fanciers brothers because of it being able to string tennis.

Features I like to keep with my current Machine:
1. Prestretch time adjustment - the Ennoxx can adjust from 0.1-1sec prestretch hold
2. Memory - Most of my clients are either like 24-27lbs. So I have my memory functions catered for 24 & 26lbs.
3. Those xpider clamp bases (probably will try migrating them over at some point)
4. Turn on / off constant pull

Some things I would like to improve my current Machine:
1. 5% prestretch where is it?
2. More finer adjustments on clamps / lighter clamps / lower profile for tight spots
3. Faster pull speed
4. Be able to adjust tension while pulling
5. Auto-Brake with 360 degree locking.

After 2 months of pondering and still, I would never thought of looking towards the Chinese manufacturers for my next machine. But after seeing a video on how others start mains with Prestretch. One of the chinese machines that isn't a Tokozuki machine was able to adjust tension up or down. After that I started to probe other Brands and their OEMs. I ended up landing on Huipaiyiji as one of my friends has a machine made by them and its pretty decent quality. Also I use both their starting clamps more then any other one atm. At first looking at their newest machine, it looks very similar to a Yonex Protech. The tension head has the touch button as well in the same spot as well. After asking some questions to the manufacturer and reading its spec sheet I decided to take the plunge and order.

Pull Speed Medium (75%) / Clamps / Bases Vids:

This machine ticked off alot of what I would like and is a pretty good copy of the Tokozuki models in features with a low price tag. While it does only have 3 quick settings for speed (low, medium & high) These can be adjusted individually such as slow can be 65%, medium can be 70% and high can be 90% in settings. There is also an adjustment for Auto Lock delay. Whether its to lock right away before pulling or have the string settle at an angle then the machine locks. I also hope that also means it won't unlock right away when the tension is release as sometimes the turntable whips the racket around.

Once the machine arrives I'll post an update of how its like.

This is the first batch and next month will go up in price. Long term durability still TBD but tbh if I can get 2 years out of it, I'll probably be bored by then.

From the seller: " it uses screw drive. We equipped it with grinding ball screw with balls inside to cut down friction noise a lot."

While I am always for getting excuses to upgrade, could you not just replace some parts on the Ennoxx motor or the entire Ennoxx unit itself? 3000 rackets is roughly when i sent my wise unit in the past back to Wise for a rebuild/recalibration / upgrade - back then it was a fairly inexpensive service (~ $100 + any new parts)

What's the landed price like? The iTennis machine was the one i had shortlisted as a decent entry-level machine for my friends and clients who was looking for a machine for themselves. Although i would have to use it myself before i would form a final opinion.

I did try a SIBOASI machine recently that one of my local club brought in, but the clamps were terrible; decent value for the money, but after being spoiled by my precision 3.2, it was like going back to the stone ages with the clamps lol

Yes from the same vendor, and right now its listed at 3880 rmb. Showing as around $830 cad for me, kinda expensive but when I looked at current Wise prices when did we get above $950. I bought from Taobao.

Yes I was actually considering opening it up but being the scared person I am, if something goes wrong I'm without a machine, then basically I'm forced to buy one of the exthree ones asap.

The Ennoxx motor funny enough was working fine when it came back in stock at tennisman but started making noises once his stock depleted and looks like December would be the next restock. Right now the motor is priced at $1400 before shipping, and if its the same as last time, I got hit with 13% duties/tax on top.

The landed price best case $2485 cad after shipping and fees. If i get slap with extra duties / taxes it could go to 2775 to 2900ish

A new Tennisman deluxe some how costs $3100 not including shipping and duties / taxes.

That was one of the things I liked the most about the WISE - and own of the reason I went with it over a full electronic machine initially; was the after-sale service and support. Never had any issues sending my wise back for service and upgrades were always an option when I did. Quick surprising almost all wise users I talked to didn't know they could do that.

I did change my mine recently after talking to friends who had their exthree electronic machines for 10+ years without issues - and talking to both the yonex and Victor rep about repairs and parts.

I would still be hesitant about other brands though including the Tennisman machines unless they have a North American distributor for parts and/or repairs

At the rate I do rackets currently being out of commission for 6 months or more would buy a whole new machine. I basically made back the cost of my precision 3.2 plus enough to get a 2nd one in the year that I owned it - but ibam.saving that up towards the cost of the precision 8.0

At the time this was something that was considered heavily. To stay to the trusted Wise or go into something new and not fully tested. But the price at the time for the Ennoxx was pretty good so the gamble was taken. I think it paid off, mostly I am looking for an excuse to try something new and without breaking the budget with decent enough features.

ATM not sure what happen but the kicker in the can to me was also tennisman website has taken away my currency but re-added the USD. So it just made it even more exp and as earlier mention the new badminton machine coming in Dec keeps the same tension head doesn't seem exciting enough for me.

I’ve been eyeing out their machines recently as well. Currently using a Siboasi machine but the features of their machines is making it very tempting.

New colorway for the Tension Head: They will release more colors and sell them separately instead of as a set in the future.

Exactly 30 days later by sea shipping. (no option to get it earlier ) It unexpectedly landed on my doorstep in the afternoon. Been a busy day so I probably won't set it up / play with it till maybe Friday. Also gotta find out where to move my old machine while working on a backlog of rackets.

So it came all assemble ready to go in a single box with I say adequete but a bit minimal foam padding. Clamps and some supports came in accessory boxes.

The clamps also weigh 192.2g - 192.3g each so about similar to what @DarthHowie purchase before.

Gotta get around this wall plug with an adapter or I'll see if I can use my current power supply on my Ennoxx motor.

Tools and stringing accessories that came with the machine which is pretty nice addition.

Total cost after shipping: under $2.5k CAD which is I would say is hard to beat these days.

There is also another machine that uses the older more common mounting style with 4 knobs but has the updated tension head saving you about $500 to $600.
