Jeffrey Herlings posted the fastest time in qualifying at the British Championship round in Duns. Herlings was half a second quicker than Conrad Mewse, with Josh Gilbert slotting into third.

In the MX2 class, Joe Brookes topped the timesheets ahead of Kay Karssemakers and Oriol Oliver, while Charlie Richmond set the pace in the 125cc class.
