The Los Angeles Dodgers have a Kyle Tucker problem on their hands that they need to address as the $240 million man's season is continuing to take a downward tumble. 

He has gone hitless in the Dodgers' seven-game homestand, going 0-for-19. To make matters worse, fans expressed their frustrations Sunday by booing Tucker, who failed to make a defensive play in right field. 

The 29-year-old failed to secure a fly ball that was hit by Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio on what should have been a routine play for the right fielder. The boos were a clear sign that the fans are experiencing buyer's remorse for one of the Dodgers' biggest offseason signings. His lack of urgency and hustle in the outfield was also illustrated, as after he fumbled the ball, he jogged after it, allowing Luis Lara to sprint to third base. 

Tucker is batting a measly .188 since the All-Star break and is sporting -6 Outs Above Average (OOA) in right field. Tucker went 0-for-3 in the Dodgers' 6-2 loss on Sunday and his now batting .232 with a 97 wRC+ this season.

The team's offensive MLB ranks have taken a downward spiral since the start of July, including poor run production. They've also failed to provide run support (only four runs) for newly acquired ace Tarik Skubal, who has gone winless (0-2) across his first three starts despite sporting a 3.18 ERA and providing another quality start; the Dodgers lost the series 3-1 with him on the mound. 

Entering Sunday, they ranked 15th with a .244 batting average, 21st with 40 home runs, 22nd with 153 runs and 22nd with a .698 OPS. Tucker has been a contributor to the Dodgers' offensive struggles, as he is batting a poor .043 in his last seven games with one hit and four strikeouts. 

On Aug. 15, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts had Tucker out of the lineup following his struggles at Dodger Stadium, as he is now slashing a miserable .189/.286/.272  at home. To thicken the pot, Dodgers closer Edwin Diaz who has blown three saves in his last four outings. 

The tide just continues to turn for the team's spending spree. It is learning that you can't buy a World Series, as the combination of both Tucker and Diaz's contract amounts to $309 million.
