With Jeremy Doku holding down a place at left-wing for the majority of the 2025-26 campaign, Savinho often found consistent game time difficult to come by, and Fabrizio Romano has revealed Man City could now be open to selling the Brazilian, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 22-year-old featured for just 821 minutes across 24 appearances in the Premier League, having often been utilised as a late substitute by Guardiola, while he was also sidelined for an extended period due to a thigh injury.
As a result, despite having the most potent attack in the Premier League last season, City have now set out to sign a new forward in the summer transfer window, which opens on June 15th.

Man City make approach to sign "elite" Premier League forward
In a recent post on X, Romano has revealed Man City have now made calls to sign AFC Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi, with Arsenal also making an approach, in order to be 'informed' about his situation this summer.
The Gunners are lining up a deal for the Frenchman, but it could be difficult to get a deal over the line, given that he has a £87m release clause in his Bournemouth contract, which isn't set to become active until the summer of 2027.
Moreover, the Cherries are very keen to keep hold of the 19-year-old, who enjoyed a very impressive debut campaign in the Premier League, finding the back of the net 13 times in 33 appearances.
Guardiola is regarded as a big fan of the teenager, who has also been lauded as an "elite talent" by scout Jacek Kulig, and he is capable of playing in the number 10 role, as well as at centre-forward and left-wing.
Not only that, but there are indications the youngster could be a big-game player, having scored in both of Bournemouth's games against Manchester United and Arsenal, and against Man City in the penultimate game of the season.
As such, Kroupi could now be ready to take the next step by joining a Champions League side, and City should definitely pursue a move if Savinho moves on.
