Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayWith LeBron James beginning a new chapter in Philadelphia, former Lakers forward Devean George doesn’t believe Bronny James should follow his father to the 76ers.
Speaking with TMZ Sports before LeBron’s move was announced, George said the young guard is at a point in his career where he needs the chance to establish himself independently.
“I think it’s a good situation for him,” he said. “I think he needs to space away from his dad, my opinion. Let him do his own thing. Okay, he got here – what can you do?”
George added that the Lakers should show they truly believe in Bronny by giving him meaningful opportunities on the floor rather than limiting him to favorable situations.
He also suggested Bronny has been handled differently than most young NBA players and believes it’s time for him to be evaluated like everyone else in the league.
