The new Decathlon ADVT 900 bags are far from just a refreshed set of colors. Featuring a full line of touring and bikepacking-oriented offerings, this new set of bags promises greater water resistance, more environmentally conscious construction, and greater capacity…

Decathlon’s ADVT 900 bags are newly redesigned from the prior iteration and come with a load of new benefits and improvements. Far from just a fresh set of colors, the new range of ADVT 900 bags feature a less environmentally impactful manufacturing process, greater repairability, more internal capacity, and an altogether lighter construction. With reflective patches, greater water resistance, and two full ranges of bags, there’s plenty to dig in to with the new Decathlon ADVT 900 bags.

While their touring line only refers to the two new sets of 14L and 24L pannier systems, the Decathlon ADVT 900 bikepacking range is far more extensive. With removable, universal metal hooks and repairable buckles, the panniers follow the same philosophy as their bikepacking bags but maintain a ton of storage and re-worked thermo-compression construction for better durability. The 14L pannier weighs in at 800 grams and retails for €65, and the 24L pannier weighs in at 900 grams and costs €70.

The ADVT 900 bikepacking bags are now made with TPU elements for greater rigidity in form, have the same detachable, repairable metal hooks and buckles where applicable, and include a whole host of options from three different frame bags, a top tube bag, a saddle bag harness system, a front harness system with an attachable front bag, and a stem bag. The full range varies in cost, but starts at €20 and goes up to €70 for their larger and more spacious bags.

Another nice element of Decathlon’s ADVT 900 bags is that each element can be purchased individually. For example, their bikepacking saddle harness can be purchased for €59.99, and the related watertight bikepacking saddle bag is available for €18. Frame bags range in cost from their 3L, €47 option to their 9L, €65 option, while the 4L fork bag is just €18 and the 1L top tube bag retails at €36. It should be noted that Decathlon is based in France, and that these bags do not ship to the US or its associated territories.
