Conor McGregor recently reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo marrying his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

Ronaldo and Georgina met way back in 2016 and began dating shortly afterward, making their first public appearance in January 2017. Several months later, in November 2017, the couple welcomed their first daughter (biological).

In 2022, they welcomed another daughter, while announcing that their newborn son (twins) had sadly passed away. The couple announced their engagement in August 2025, before finally tying the knot a year later.

In a post that has garnered over 25 million likes (and counting) in just 17 hours, where they announced that they were married, there were a boatload of comments, as expected. And one among them was Conor McGregor’s.

‘The Notorious,’ who is a friend of the legendary soccer star, dropped a six-word reaction under Ronaldo’s post:

Congrats bro! Welcome to the club.

Like Ronaldo, McGregor married his long-term partner Dee Devlin just eight months ago, in December 2025 (and were engaged back in August 2020).

There Were Rumors that Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov Were Invited to Ronaldo’s Wedding

Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez got married in a very private ceremony that had just their five children.

However, a few days ago, there were rumors that fierce rivals Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov were both invited to Ronaldo’s wedding. The news spread like wildfire after a source citing Gossip Magazine had the news picked up by several MMA pages. Given Ronaldo’s friendship with both MMA icons, it seemed to be true at one point.

And, with the disdain McGregor and Nurmagomedov have for each other, a ton of ‘what could possibly happen’ stories and clips began circulating. However, it just stayed a rumor in the end.
