— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) November 17, 2025Jones’ absence comes at a critical time for the Clippers, who hold a 4-10 record and have struggled to maintain consistency through a difficult November stretch. The team has gone 2-7 this month.
The forward’s scoring and athleticism were key for Los Angeles, complementing stars James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, who lead the team with 26.0 and 24.3 points per game, respectively. Ivica Zubac also anchors the frontcourt, contributing 10.6 rebounds per game.
The Clippers’ season has been a rollercoaster, starting 3-2 in October before falling to 2-7 in November. Home struggles have compounded their record, with the team going 1-4 at the Intuit Dome this month.
Looking ahead, the Clippers face the Orlando Magic on November 20, Charlotte on November 22, and Cleveland on November 23 before traveling to face the Lakers on November 25. How the team adjusts its rotations and leverages remaining depth will be key to navigating Jones’ absence.
