PFL lightweight titleholder Usman Nurmagomedov, who is now a free agent, has shown interest in fighting a top UFC 155-pound contender. Usman is expected to sign with the UFC soon and already has an opponent in mind whom he would love to face for his octagon debut.
The undefeated Russian phenom, during a sit-down with Kamil Gadzhiev, opined that taking on any lightweight contender could be a good headliner and a money fight. However, Usman believes that him taking on Arman “Batman” Tsarkyan will be a “big money fight.” He said:
“In terms of headlines and as a money fight, Usman Nurmagomedov against any UFC fighter is a good one. And against Arman… it’s a big money fight.”
