Despite another disappointing playoff exit, the Cleveland Cavaliers remain fully committed to building their future around Donovan Mitchell.

Team president Koby Altman made it clear that the organization continues to view Mitchell as its franchise centerpiece and believes he can lead the team to the highest level of success.

Addressing questions about the Cavaliers’ long-term direction, Altman left no doubt about the club’s confidence in its star guard.

“He’s our guy,” Altman said. “Do we think we can win with him as the best player on a championship team? Yes.”
