Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDespite rumors to the contrary, the Cleveland Cavaliers have no concerns that their reported agreement to sign Mario Hezonja is in danger of falling apart. The Cavaliers intend to sign Hezonja to a one-year, veteran minimum contract to make his return to the NBA.
There have been reports out of Europe that Real Madrid has concerns about letting Hezonja out of his contract to return to the NBA. The Spanish powerhouse is worried that Cleveland could waive the veteran wing in-season, which would then allow Hezonja to sign with another EuroLeague team.
Despite those worries, the Cavs have indicated that they plan for Hezonja to be an every-night rotation player for them. This should make it clear that Cleveland has no intentions of this being a short-term signing with the former NBA player in his return to the league.
