Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe Milwaukee Bucks have signed former lottery pick Johnny Davis, reports Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. The team also added center Jeremiah Tilmon, according to the NBA transaction log via RealGM.
Tilmon has spent time in the G League and overseas since going undrafted out of Missouri in 2021, most recently playing for the Shenzhen Leopards in China during the 2024/25 season.
Like Davis, he is expected to have signed an Exhibit 10 contract and will likely join the Wisconsin Herd after being waived.
Davis, 23, is also expected to receive an Exhibit 10 deal and be waived before Saturday. If he spends at least 60 days with the Herd, he would be eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300.
The signing is a homecoming for Davis, who grew up in La Crosse and starred at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The 10th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Davis struggled to find his footing over parts of three seasons with the Wizards, averaging 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds on .397/.273/.561 shooting splits across 112 games.
He was traded to Memphis in February but waived soon after without playing a game. He finished the year in the G League with Westchester.
The Bucks have two open roster spots and won’t need to cut anyone to bring Davis in.
