Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayBRAVE CF heads to Vilnius, Lithuania, for BRAVE CF 99 on October 18th, but the promotion is on the heels of sizabe offerings with BRAVE CF 98 in Zhengzhou, China, on September 19th, as well as BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. The World which transpired in Tbilisi on October 3rd.
Omar Solomanov, Rauli Tutarauli, Nicholas Hwende, and Lasha Abramishvili are four of the standout names that had bolstered cache coming out of those events and their recent accomplishments are outlined below. Each emerged victorious with emphatic performances that now set the stage for their next conquests inside the BRAVE cage.
BRAVE CF 98 and BRAVE CF 99 standout combatants
Omar Solomanov captured gold at BRAVE CF 98 as he garnered the BRAVE CF interim featherweight title in a thorough, cerebral performance against Rauan Bekbolat. The grappling piece told a big part of the story of the five-round battle, as Solomanov authord a unanimous decision win.
With the interim strap in possession, Solomanov is now on track for a champinship unification clash with the reigning lineal champ at 145 pounds, Nemat Abdrashitov.
For Rauli Tutarauli, he won big in front of a partisan crowd at BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. The World. The BRAVE CF interim lightweight was added to Tutarauli’s mantle. In another dominant, wrestling focused effort, the Georgian seemed near a finish in the second stanza with an arm-triangle choke but ultimately came out with the UD win when the dust settled.
Now, Tutaraulihas his crosshairs on Abdisalam Uulu Kubanychbek with the aims of taking out the lineal champion to become the undisputed champion outright.
Nicholas Hwende stood out in Zhengzhou at BRAVE CF 98 as the ex-BRAVE bantamweight titleholder returned in style. Now journeying to featherweight, the Zimbabwean combatant bested partisan favorite Xie Bin, dictating the pace from bell to bell. Stoppages seemed evident on a pair of occasions in the bout before eventually earning a victory on the judges’ scorecards.
While he succeeded here at 145 pounds, Hwende’ remains focused on bantamweight as he yearns for a rematch versus reigning 135 pound champ Borislav Nikolić.
The co-main event in Tbilisi saw Lasha Abramishvili record a dramatic first-round stoppage against the number three-ranked bantamweight contender Khurshed Nazarov. A right straight was all it took to drop Nazarov to the mat as a torrent of hammerfists led to an opening stanza, buzzer beater finish as there was one second remaining in that opening frame.
This also puts Abramishvili in the bantamweight title contender conversation after earning what is seen as the biggest win of his MMA career as Borislav Nikolić holds his belt and Nicholas Hwende eyes a sequel clash.
