Bob Myers will reportedly explore hiring Atlanta Hawks general manager Onsi Saleh as the next president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

The expectation is that Saleh will remain with the Hawks.

The Sixers have also been linked with Tim Connelly, though it is expected that he'll sign an extension with the Timberwolves.

Current Sixers consultant Neil Olshey and Oklahoma City executive Vince Rozman are also rumored candidates for the position.

Jameer Nelson is expected to stay with the team in an expanded capacity regardless of who is hired as president.
