The Cuban combatant finished Brandon Birr early in the bout and defended his BKB super featherweight crown in an exemplary performance over a former champion. When delving into his feelings regarding all of these components, Alberto Blas stated [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],
“Yes, sir. Always I say I’m ready to go six round. You give me 30 second, you give me one minute, I’m going to destroy you. Look what happened.”
The multi-promotion champion gets reflective after his fights by kneeling and showing his gratitude. Espousing aspects of how key his faith is to him overall, Blas quipped [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],
“God [give] everything for me. I had to go on my knee. I had to be grateful for every opportunity, every day. Everything God give me. Yeah, I’m so grateful be close to God and I’m going to continue be close to God.”

“I do everything for my family. Two months, I don’t see my two babies, my baby girl and my baby boy and my fiancée. I don’t see my family two months. I’m ready to go and see my family.”

“Only show, only show. I want to fight everybody. I give this guy the opportunity to fight me because I’m the champ. This triangle over there in my world, you know. I’m the best bare knuckle [boxer] in the world. Everybody see I’m the best best bare knuckle [boxer] in the world. I’m four time world champion, I’m two time 135 [pounds], two time 130 [pounds]. Look what I can do and only love every time. Whatever come on my face, I only love, you know.”
Delving into whether he would next be defending his BKB super featherweight crown or instead fighting Jon Barnard’s BKB lightweight title, Alberto Blas quipped [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],
“I don’t know yet. I’m going to keep it right here [laughs]. I don’t know yet but you guys going to know. I going to continue be 135 or I’m coming over 135.”
Putting into words how he is feeling on the heels of finishing BKB’s inaugural BKB featherweight champion in short order, Blas said [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],
“I feel grateful. Yeah, I work so hard I’m sometime training four times a day, three times a day, I wake up 4:00 in the morning I’m running. Look, after all, the work come out in the ring.”
Even after getting into one contracted fight and an unofficial multi-man melee after, the former BKFC champion still remembered to give this writer a happy birthday shoutout on August 29th, Alberto Blas stated [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],
“”I told you when I’m finished I’m going to say happy birthday. Happy birthday again and thank you for the opportunity.”
