Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe Oklahoma City Thunder have ruled guard Ajay Mitchell out for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals at the San Antonio Spurs. Mitchell was ruled out with a right calf strain. The injury was suffered during the Thunder's Game 3 victory over the Spurs.
Mitchell has stepped up for Oklahoma City in the absence of Jalen Williams throughout the playoffs. The second-year guard has averaged 16.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals during the Thunder's 10 playoff games.
Williams is expected to also be out for Oklahoma City as he deals with a left hamstring injury. That will leave Mark Daigneault to make some lineup decisions without a starting wing in Williams and his regular backup in Mitchell.
The Thunder lead the best-of-seven series 2-1. They're looking to take a commanding 3-1 lead before the series shifts back to Oklahoma City for Game 5.
