Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway
Sean Sharaf is already considering retirement after the biggest win of his UFC career. Last month at UFC 331, Sharaf shocked the world by knocking out Gable Steveson, whom many considered to be a potential future UFC champion.
Sharaf entered the bout on a 2-fight losing skid and was also a massive underdog. But come fight night, all it took was one left hook to send Steveson to the shadow realm in just 12 seconds.

After the massive KO win, while fans expected Sharaf to have even bigger goals, he recently confessed on The Joe Rogan Experience that he’s thinking about retiring.
Sean Sharaf believes that after scoring the biggest win of his career, it will be hard to produce a moment like this or a bigger one. “The Smoke” has already spoken to his team about potential retirement after his first UFC win. Sharaf also told Rogan that he had no sponsors or promotion heading into UFC 331 and was even struggling to find a proper coach and cornermen. He added that he is dealing with various injuries and is now trying to figure out whether continuing to fight solely for the money is worth it. He said:
“Everyone’s making it seem like this was just a f*cking lucky punch, one shot… Can I beat that? Like, do I… leave the table when you’re up, that’s what they say… What am I doing it for? Just f*cking for more money? For a belt? Like, what… what am I doing it for? I am trying to figure out the answers myself.”

Sean Sharaf believes Gable Steveson never took him seriously
Sean Sharaf belives Gable Steveson did not take him seriously, and the 26-year-old was not even training full time for the bout as he chose RAF outings over training camp before UFC 331. During a sit-down with “Mighty Mouse,” Sharaf also discussed a huge technical mistake Steveson committed, for which “The Smoke” made him pay.
“This motherf**ker was doing RAF matches. That’s when I knew I had him. When I saw him having RAF matches, I knew this motherf**ker isn’t taking me seriously…. I don’t close my eyes when I fight. My eyes are wide open. Maybe I’m too dumb because I don’t give a f*ck about getting hit.”
