Ziaire Williams has agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Williams spent the past two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets. Last season, Williams averaged 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 22.9 minutes across 56 games.

Williams was the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies after one season with Stanford.

The Lakers are continuing to pursue pathways to acquire Jonathan Kuminga despite the signing of Williams.
