Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway
Just this morning, it was announced on the YT Industries Instagram that the brand has been repurchased by its founder, Markus Flossman. This announcement hopefully puts an end to the ongoing saga that has lasted for months since the brand entered restructuring back in July.
It was clear from the start that YT’s founder and CEO, Markus Flossman, was attempting to buy the brand back from insolvency, a process that took some time and negatively impacted many customers. And despite reports that YT’s U.S. branch would be unaffected, they closed their doors just a couple of weeks ago after being unable to reach an agreement on future operations.

The new structure is leaner, more efficient, and entirely focused on what made YT great in the first place: uncompromising bikes at fair prices.”
The brand claims that it is going “Back to the roots” with a renewed focus on what made YT popular and successful to begin with. However, restarting after all the recent uncertainty won’t be without its challenges — such as rebuilding consumer trust. To that end, we’re told that they are in the process of handling outstanding orders that were in limbo during the insolvency process.

YT says that all requests sent here will be treated with top priority until every single case is fully resolved. “This is my personal top priority. Every customer who placed their trust in YT will receive what they paid for. That’s always been my promise,” says Flossmann.
“For us this is more than just an administrative process. It’s about trust, responsibility, and credibility,” explains Flossman. “Over the past months, we’ve worked tirelessly to review every open order from the former company and find solutions. Nearly all have been fulfilled or refunded, with only a few remaining cases currently being finalized.”
Additionally, YT states that it is shifting away from its “Mill” concept, and instead “focusing on building a comprehensive global service network to provide customers with even better support.” An increase in local service partners aims to improve access and service quality, while “a dedicated strategy is still being developed” for key markets like the U.S. and UK. In the meantime, YT says that all customers can reach out to the global service center at [email protected] for service and warranty inquiries.

According to the statement, almost all of the bikes are back in stock and will be appearing on the EU and UK sites over the next few weeks, with US availability “coming at a later date.”
“The following months will focus on stabilizing operations, developing new products, and rebuilding trust amongst the community,” said the YT statement.
Of course, we’re happy to hear that another mountain bike brand has avoided shutting down completely. We’re hopeful that YT Industries can reestablish itself and continue producing great bikes. We’ll keep you posted if we learn more.
