Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayWEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Yankees are a virtual lock to add a reliever at the trade deadline, but there are still two-plus months of games to get through until then.
That puts the onus on internal improvements to steady the bullpen, and Eric Reyzelman may be a wild card to put himself in that mix before long.
The righty reliever, who was promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last week, has gotten off to a strong start this season following back surgery late last year that seems to have put the 24-year-old back on track.
“Would not be surprised if he makes his major league debut this summer,” an American League scout, who saw Reyzelman about a month ago at Double-A, said Thursday.
