At Creating the Difference, we spend a lot of time talking about ball motion, consistency, oil absorption, and performance.

But sometimes the biggest issue isn’t performance. Sometimes it’s clarity.

That was the case with the BAM lineup.

Over the last year, we continued hearing the same thing from bowlers and pro shops:

“What’s the difference between BAM Pad and BAM Pad Pro?”

And honestly? That confusion made sense.

The labels looked similar.

The names sounded similar.

But the products were built for different purposes.

So instead of pretending the issue didn’t exist, we fixed it.

Introducing the new BAM Pro Velocity launching 5/14/2026.

Why the Change?

The original BAM Pad Pro worked extremely well. This change wasn’t about reinventing the product because it failed.

It was about refining the product while creating a cleaner, easier-to-understand product lineup for bowlers and pro shops.

The BAM lineup now becomes much easier to identify:

BAM Pad = standard microfiber cleaning pad

BAM Pro Velocity = upgraded professional performance version

Simple. Cleaner. Easier to understand.

Because education is Creating the Difference.

More Than a Name Change

While reworking the branding architecture, we also made performance improvements to the product itself.

BAM Pro Velocity features:

• Updated microfiber weave for improved oil and debris removal
• Increased leather texture for enhanced cleaning performance
• Weighted internal bead structure for increased cleaning pressure
• Dual-sided cleaning performance
• Built-in ball cup stability and control

The result is a more consistent cleaning process that helps create a more consistent ball reaction.

And in competitive bowling, consistency matters.

Especially when transition becomes critical late in blocks, during tournaments, or in high-friction environments where oil carrydown and debris buildup can dramatically change motion.

Why “Velocity”?

Because bowling ball performance is constantly moving.

Limited Edition Navy microfiber / Brown leather

Then in July 2026 we will expand the lineup with:

Green microfiber / Black leather

The updated colorways also help visually separate the product lineup and eliminate the confusion many bowlers experienced with the previous BAM Pad and BAM Pad Pro packaging.
