The Singletracks Trail Tournament is back for 2026, and we are stoked!

This year we’re splitting the bracket between short- and long-travel bikes before crowning an overall trail bike of the year. And as usual, Singletracks readers get to cast the deciding vote each step along the way.

Before the brackets are set, we’re taking nominations for your favorite trail bikes of the year. Choose up to five (5) bikes from the list below and/or choose “Other” to write in your favorite bike(s) that aren’t listed. To qualify, the trail bike should be in a brand’s current catalog, have between 120mm and 150mm of rear suspension travel, and be considered a production bike (no custom/one-off frames). Bikes do not have to have been released or updated in 2026. E-bikes are not included in this particular tournament.

Nominations close on Sunday, October 11.

Now that you’ve made your nominations, comment to share which head-to-head trail bike matchups you’re looking forward to the most!

The news stinks. Why not follow Singletracks on Google News to bring more joy to your day?
