According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Golden State Warriors’ decision not to acquire small forward Jaylen Brown may have affected their chances of signing veteran LeBron James this summer.

“And so that’s on them. That’s the decision they made, but what if they had gone out and got that done?” Charania said. “Does that make LeBron James more viable?”

The Warriors pursued James throughout the offseason but were unable to convince the four-time MVP to leave for the Bay Area.
